About ME

 I was born on March 22, 1969, to Shri SD Verma and Smt. Kaushalaya Verma. My father was an advocate. I graduated from MDU Rohtak in law in 1992. During my life at MDU Rohtak, I was actively involved in college politics. After obtaining my degree in law. I started practising in the district courts and High Court in Delhi since 1992.

Over the years I was also a part of Youth Wing of BJP as a General Secretary, Wazirpur Mandal.

In the year 1995, I started my own NGO in the name 'Prerna'. I have actively involved myself in raising several social issues, helping poor, needy and the down trodden and conducting various relief camps in cases of floods, earthquakes etc across the country.

I have also been handling legal affairs of BJP Delhi.

My journey in the party politics got a formal recognition when I was elected as a Municipal Councillor from Keshav Puram in 2017. Since then I have been given several other important responsibilities and was made:

1.      Keshav Puram zone chairman in 2017

2.      Chairman of appointment and promotion committee in 2018

3.      Deputy mayor 2019

4.      Leader of house 2020

Holding such positions-  I have always tried to understand and fulfil my responsibilities.

I have led several MCD issues like Balswa landfill issue, taken care of pending MCD staff promotion, reforming the house tax website, liberalising license policy etc.

I have always aspired to make a big difference in the life of people by helping them and taking my country forward in the path of development.
